Hi all,

Happy Holidays! Here are a few upcoming events I'm excited to share:

πŸ–οΈ Handuary Challenge 2025

Looking for a fun way to kick off 2025? Join us in Handuary, a 21-day drawing challenge starting January 1st, 2025!

  • Week 1: Anatomy + Gesture
  • Week 2: Expressive, Open Hands

We’ll host two weekly Meet + Draw sessions and provide resources to keep you motivated. All participants will be invited to a live feedback session at the end of the challenge. πŸ₯š Shading Course Cohort 12 Announcement

Congratulations to everyone who completed Cohort 11 of The Shading Courseβ€”the group with the highest completion rate so far! This course continues to be such a source of joy for me. It's a privilege to meet and work with all of you. πŸ™

For those ready to dive in or continue their Shading Course journey, Cohort 12 begins in April 2025.

I’ll leave you with this photo from a 6-hour solo hike I took on December 25th. I started on foot from my home and went up, up, up through the forest. Living in such a remote area has its drawbacks, but the time I get to spend immersed in nature gives me a lot.

Warm greetings,
Dorian

I've done all of these...

Hi Reader, When I'm stuck, I used to push harder. Now I play a game instead. It's called the Flow Game. Here's how it works: You bring a burning question. So do 3-5 other players. Together, we find unexpected answers. It takes a little courage, but everyone wins. I've hosted 30 games so far. Every time, players leave moved and with more clarity about their next steps. Here are the next Flow Games: Game 1: Get Unstuck – Saturday, July 5 Game 2: Get Courageous – Sunday, July 20 Game 3: Get...
